Tamagotchi ID 0

I recently made the best purchase of my life on ebay! The Tamagotchi ID satisfies my recent desire to collect. I have loved the Tamagotchi since it’s popularity in the 90s and recently got back into it with the V5 and the V6 Music star. Little did I know that the Japanese versions had become much more advanced with color and customization. Not only that, the new versions allow you to connect to other Tamagotchis!

When I rekindled my love for the Tamagotchi, I went out and purchased several old ones on ebay. This led to me buying the newer American versions, but when I saw the Tamagotchi + Color and the ID I knew I had to have one. I waited 3 weeks for this sucker to arrive, and got it yesterday. I got mine on ebay at a low price of $59, but I’ve noticed they’ve recently shot up in price to $80-$100! They are only available in Japan, and I doubt they will ever make an English version :(

Hello! 0

Okay, so I’ve been really busy trying to set up my new website for my design company. I decided to go into freelancing in order to build up my portfolio. I no longer work at Starbucks and I’m trying to make a name for myself in design. It’s proving to be quite the task though, but I’m working through it.

In the meantime, to fund my business I’ve been using Cashcrate. It’s just a little website to do surveys, but if you complete enough of them, you can make money. Money has been a little tight lately, but this is a great way to earn extra cash and work from home. Give it a try Sign Up, and then let me know what you think.

Welcome Back 0

The month of August was my summer vacation. I visited Chicago and Indianapolis in an effort to get away from everything here in the QC. Because of my birthday and school starting, August was the perfect month to take a deep breath and just have some fun. I accomplished that, and now I’m back. I’m ready to continue my freelance work, Mary Kay, this blog, and all my other endeavors. This would include my workout routine (which I’ve been badly neglecting). continue reading »

Joy 1

Despite an increasingly stressful work environment, and an onslaught of freelancing and Mary Kay business I have discovered the joys of relaxing. For the first time in a while, I have been able to take a step back and do something for myself. I have been working on personal projects and catching up on some much-needed R&R. I haven’t been able to truly relax all summer, so I’m soaking it in. continue reading »

Get Motivated! 0

Due to my recent overload in business opportunities, I was super excited about attending the Get Motivated! Seminar. I prepared myself a week in advance for networking and growth opportunities. My fellow Mary Kay Consultant, Robyn, and I decided we would got together in the hopes that it would amp us up to sell some Mary Kay! I didn’t even make it to lunch. continue reading »

Oh Gaud! 0

Today, Daisy and I made friendship boxes! They are gaudy treasures that bring such joy. It’s a very relaxing and revealing thing to just sit and glue ribbons, pastries, pearls, and gems on a wooden box. There should be some sort of therapy program. It brings out the inner beauty and displays it for the world. continue reading »

The Flair 0

Recently, I have been really inspired by old treasures abandoned during estate sales. With my friends, I have scoured through warehouses chock full of abandoned beauties. This has re-inspired my love and passion for thrift. My love and passion started long ago when I would read blogs and livejournals dedicated to wonderful thrift finds. People would go on amazing thrift adventures and then take painstaking photos of their beautiful finds for all the world to see. continue reading »
